From the beginning, Houston Motorsports focused on several key elements. First was to provide a showroom that enabled guests to not only view product, but also touch, feel, and walk around each product and model. Second was to maintain a well-stocked Parts and Accessories department while allowing customers to browse the many walls and racks of ATV, Motocross, Watercraft, and Street items. Third was by giving the public a Service department that gave a quicker turn around of periodic service. Fourth was to represent to our customers a product they could depend on. To date, these goals have been met and remain in place.

Starting in the summer of 1996, Yamaha (yamaha-motor.com) was our single line with all models of Motorcycles, Scooters, ATV's, Personal Watercraft, Cart Engines and Generators. As a "Yamaha Pilot" store, Houston Motorsports was the fastest growing "new start-up" dealership in Yamaha Motor Company's sales history.

With all the growth that Houston Motorsports has experienced, the store expanded in 1999. In 2002, the store again expanded to almost triple in size from its original showroom, parts & accessories, and service areas. By the Summer of 2003, Houston Motorsports offered one of the largest showrooms in Texas.

In November 2001, the flagship of American ATV's and Personal Watercraft, Polaris (polarisindustries.com) was added to the ever-growing Houston Motorsports FM1960 location. Within the Polaris brand we bring their award winning ATV's, and the class leading Side by Side Ranger and Personal Watercraft.

Starting in November of 2005, Houston Motorsports became the first and only dealer in the State of Texas to carry MV Agusta (mvagusta.com). If you have not looked into what makes a quality European Sport bike, you have not heard of MV. MV has had a legendary series of 75 world championships (38 drivers' and 37 manufacturers').

In realizing that being a part of our local community and how it impacts our customers, Houston Motorsports is a member of the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce. Our involvement also includes sponsorship of community sports leagues.

Each year select dealerships around the nation are chosen by the Motorcycle Industry for Appearance, Styling, Innovations, and Customer Friendliness. Houston Motorsports is proud to be recognized 2005 as a Top 100 dealer in the U.S.A.. (over 3,000 dealerships).

Our 2002 adventures included the addition of a second location now called "Houston Motorsports South." It has the same high standards as our North store. The South store offers another convienent Yamaha dealership location for our South Houston customers. November 2002 was the 1 st year Anniversary for the North location becoming a Polaris dealer.

If you own a Yamaha Star motorcycle, HM is one of the sponsoring dealers for the local Star Chapter's in Harris and Montgomery counties. We have organized events, rides, and general meetings for Yamaha enthusiasts. Star Touring and Riders members receive special rates as such from this dealership.

Other new things from the North store are the huge expansion with over 6000 square feet of additional showroom being added. Service upgrades may include an "on-site" separate Service Center with a "Motorcycle/ATV" computerized Dynometer room and a "State of the Art" Watercraft Test Tank facility. Part of the expansion was necessary because of our new relationship with MV Agusta (www.mvagusta.com).
